Will the CB30 pod fit my 2020 Tacoma?
Refer to the fitment verifier above to confirm. The CB30 is compatible across Tacoma generations, but mounting location and bracket compatibility depend on your exact cab configuration and desired mounting point.
Can I install this myself or do I need a professional?
Bolt-on installation with no drilling or cutting required. If you're comfortable running a harness and bolting a bracket to your truck, you can do this yourself. Electrical integration (switch wiring, relay setup) may require professional support depending on your existing auxiliary circuit setup.
Is the amber lens effective at night, or is it only for daytime use?
Amber lenses are optimized for dust and precipitation penetration and reduce glare in fog—not raw nighttime output. The CB30's 5000 lumens and 270-degree pattern make it effective for night trail driving, but if pure distance visibility is your priority, a white LED pod may outperform it at range. Use this for balanced visibility in mixed conditions.
